One month later....

Okay so it's been about a month now, and I only lost about 6 pounds. That may not be the max of 8 pounds that I would have liked to lose 6 is still pretty good considering its been a rough start and I'm still proud of myself. emoticon

Although I'm not really talking to anybody as far as this diet goes, I'm kinda glad I'm not. When I think about it, the person I had makes me feel less motivated making it more likely for me to give up sooner because the other person wasn't all in it from the start. Kinda like being held back with dead weight

    That's awesome! Congratulations on the 6lbs!

It's definitely good that you can be your own motivator! And it's so smart to keep anything or anyone that holds you back on the back burner. You'll be more likely to succeed with your goals when you can push yourself and avoid the things that bring you down. I think next month will be even greater and you're really going to love the results that come forth from it.

    Sometimes, we can be our best cheerleader. If you have to choose between dragging dead weight or pepping yourself up, I'm glad you are choosing to pep yourself up.

BTW - Congrats on the 6 pounds!! That's more than I've lost in a single month.
