1/17/13 Weekly Check-In

Hello there!

I struggled this week. I mean, seriously, I had 3 hamburgers within 7 days. That is just absurd. And, I didn't get my fitness minutes in either. So, rather than be disappointed that my scale didn't change at all, I should be happy that it didn't go up. Here is a breakdown:

Sleep: I have come a long way in this category. I am still having a tough time shutting off the electronics and reading before bed. (I don't know why it is so hard, I used to read every night not that long ago.) But, I have been in bed with the lights off ready to sleep by 11pm every night, and waking up between 7:30 and 8:00am every morning. So this is a big improvement! I just want to work on having a more relaxing bedtime routine, to help my body ease into sleep.

Food: Ugh... as I stated before, it was a tough week. Back to it this week. My goal for the week is to work on getting my protein in, I very rarely reach my minimum when it comes to protein, which I know isn't good.

Water: Still going strong!

Exercise: Not so great this week, but I started to pick it up the last 2 days... I am SORE, so I know I did something right. The goal for this week is to get back into the swing of things, to stay consistent.

Pop: None! 22 days strong!

Relationships: Since moving, I haven't been as social as I used to be. I am working on this, and already have plans made with new friends for the coming weeks. My BFF is coming into town next weekend, so I am looking forward to that!

Weight: no change
12/28/12: 174.8
1/4/13: 172.0
1/10/13: 168.0
1/17/13: 168.0

Have a great week! And... remember not to be too hard on yourself. Just keep moving forward... you can't change what you did, you can only decide what you are going to do.

    Okay, so areas to work on:
    Believe it or not, your area of relationships may ACTUALLY be creating a deficit in you that maybe food or electronics is temporarily filling as a way to handle the imbalance.
    Something to think about.

    Are you lonely? Bored? Need human contact face-to-face?
    It may be contributing to staying with your electronics too late into the night, and also to overeating.

    What are your thoughts?
