Tuesday I wrote a quick blog about how I wanted to do two different challenges and I have come to a decision. I decided to do the 90 day challenge at the gym mainly due to the fact that I couldn't find anyone else that was as motivated as I am to do the work biggest loser challenge. For those who don't know, I work at a school and so does my mom, I called her up and asked her if she was interested doing the work challenge with me alongside with me and her co-worker. She told me she'd think about it and called me back not even five minutes later saying that they were both sick and didn't think it was a good idea to participate. I told my mom that the challenge didn't even start until February and I caught her. I can't force people to do something that they do not want to do.
Now to start preparing for the 90 day challenge! The 90 challenge begins on the 9th and I want to start preparing or training as you will, a week prior so my body gets used to what I will be doing such as eating a ton of fruit and veggies and aiming for 30 minutes of exercise a day. My friend Amanda and her boyfriend will be starting P90x next month as well, and I got the prepare week idea from her. "I want to be focused on my workout not about the burrito I got the night before from Del Taco, going, ' Awwwwwwww'" lol
What's motivating me to compete and do well is the prizes up for stake- A trip to Hawaii and $10,000
but mostly I want to gain my confidence back, inspire others such as my mom, and be healthier. I'll be happy if I do lose weight as well. My goal is to be more confident in September for NDK! I actually want to be able to participate!!
