I am a runner. I love to run. I run at least 3-4 times a week a minimum of 30 minutes each time in the early mornings.
Well, it has been unusually cold where I live and I am just not at all used to it. Even the afternoons remain too chilly for comfort. It makes my ears ache and my feet get really cold which causes my RLS to flare up.
So, I decided the other day to do The Biggest Loser's Power Walk DVD workout in my living room. I love the workout and Bob Harper, but honestly, it wasn't challenging enough for me physically. So, instead of walking, I started running in place. That became boring very quickly so then I started running around the coffee table in circles. As a result, I became dizzy. So then I began running through the house making a path within 5 different rooms. I ended up running 2.8 miles in the house in 30 minutes. It was much slower than I usually run (I usually run about an 8-9 minute mile), but hey; I got my run in and it felt great.
I shared my story with my husband, daughter, and a couple of friends. They think I am crazy and they got a chuckle out of it. I just responded with, "If there is a will, there is a way."
