Today i am starting a different approach to lose weight and lower my BMI i am cutting out my snacks,only eat when i am hungry,im would like have a healthy by the by the time i see my family this sunmer. emoticon

    Good goal.

One thing that has helped me was eating on schedule B/S/L/S/D ... after awhile, I found there were days I was not hungry for a snack.

  How about just changing what the snacks are to nothing but fruits or veggies? BMI is not an indicator of a true fitness level or even health level. Take measurements.

I only say this as I do Ironman Half Triathlon and if I went by my BMI, I am overweight yet my measurements tell a different story.

Ultimately you need to do what you feel will work for you and these are only my opinion. Just thoughts.
