OK, I did make the squid for a late nite snack. I faked it for a recipe, I was too lazy to take the advice to look it up on the internet, though that was a great idea. Anyway, here is what I did. I cleaned the little suckers and then you cut up the tentacles to stuff back into them. Also, I crumbed a slice of bread, onion, S&P and parmesan cheese with a little margarine and blended it all together. Then I stuffed them and baked them. They were quite good and made for lots of jokes...
And then I had a funny occurrence at the grocery store today. I had picked up a pkg. of chicken breasts and they had just been rung through. The lady ahead of me, bagging her groceries, noticed them and told her friend how they were only $6 and she could feed her family of 6 with them..as she held them up and showed her them, while asking me where I got them. Then she passed them back and apologized for "molesting my chicken". Then, as I paid attention to my cashier again, she spoke with another lady who had checked out and witnessed the event and then she said, "Sorry, for feeling your breasts"! I still laugh over it. Some people say, only in Cape Breton would you hear someone say something like that.
