I was all suited up for my elliptical training for 50 mins last night, water in tow and playlist going on my Blackberry. I step on the machine and start rotating the wheels, I go to press the resistance to 2 and the screening is flashing. The batteries are dying so my husband replaces them and I am on my merry way for 36 minutes. I spent 16 of the last minutes on level 6 up to 8. Then the screen flashes and I have lost all information and I can't change the resistance level.
My husband gets his Blackberry and sets his alarm for 14 mins and I am off with level 7 resistance I cannot change. That was a long 14 mins with that resistance but I was determined to finish strong.
After that workout, I got off the machine covered in sweat and feeling great! Tonight I am going to have the alarm clock timed for 50 minutes so there will be no worries.
It takes real dedication despite bad weather, machines that have low batteries and lack of motivation sometimes. When you have your eye on the end results, this is when you beat all factors!
