I was thinking about the wishing well so I look up some things about it and it surprised me that every culture has a something to do with honoring water. Water is life.
Soldier would throw their enemies armor into pools of water to give thanks to their gods for their victory's. There is a wedding wishing well we see the symbol on one of the tables that we put our cards with money in it. Celtic believed that there was fairies or even deities.
Most of the wishing well around the world are named after saint because of the miracles that was told that happened.
We all at one time in our life, throw a coin into a well and made a wish. We were told to believe that it would come true. On Spraks People we hear it again and again to drink water. It is proven all around the world and from all time of life that it is water that build town, cities and even countries. So think of this next time you drink that other bottle of water, that you are a part of a bigger picture.
Verb 1.wish well - feel or express a desire, hope concerning the future.
The next time you walk by a wishing well make a wish not for money or cars ect..
Wish for health for you and all the people in the world. If you don't have one or don't know
were one is here is one for you. Just for fun
