No exercise all week!

Wednesday, January 16, 2013

Well, I have been really busy at work. I am a pediatric intensive care nurse and the winter season has hit! I have worked 6 12 hour night shifts and am going back tonight to work extra! I am going home tomorrow! I will of been away for a week! I came with good intentions but have been working and sleeping! I am thinking about getting one of those fitbit as I am sure that I have been clocking up the miles at work!
I have been trying to watch what I eat but I am sure that my water intake has not been the best! Nurses are kind to others but not to themselves emoticon
Am now coming back up for air - will weigh myself tomorrow and see how this week really went :)
Love to you all

You should consider investing in a Fit Bit (ZIP)... you'll be amazed at how much you're moving and it syncs everything with Spark!

I hope you have a great day!

I kept a lot of weight off by working the floor! I'm a triage nurse now, sit at a desk most of the time and have to exercise on my own. Enjoy the days...they will pass quickly and you ARE making a difference!!! Keep Sparkin'!!

emoticon I definitely agree - A Pedometer or Fit Bit or Heart Rate Monitor of some kind would be a Great Investment.
Good Luck with the Weigh In Tomorrow. Be sure to Squeeze in some Activity a few times a day. Just pretend that YOU are Your Own Patient!!

You'll be fine. You have a very active job. You get a lot more exercise than those of us that sit behind a desk, so don't beat yourself up.

Definitely get a fit bit or a pedometer! All those miles you are walking, must count for something.
