L keep telling myself that today....
The WW lady said something yesterday that really got my attentuion....
Instead of saying we are going to try to stay on track tell ourselves we will endeavour to stay on track.....
I like the word is really resonating with going to apply it each day as I focus....

Off now to do some bits and go check the mail at work before the office closes and I can't get in to do it....
Have packed a few bits that i have thought of for our holiday and will sort the rest of it all on Monday or as I think of things...have got my list

Later peeps

Good plan! I have a permanent list of things to pack that I use whenever I go away. It has things I need in winter, things I need in summer, things I need where there is no lighting outside, you name it, it's on the list. Then I can just check through and pack everything on it that I need. Saves writing a new list each time. I do the same with my grocery shopping list too! :-)

Endeavor is a much more active word. A word that seems to require more effort from us. I like it. "Try" seems rather wishy-washy in comparison.

I agree - funny how just the slight change in meaning can feel more motivating!

I heard the same tip - when we say we will "try", we are giving ourselves permission to fail
