It's day three and the diet is going pretty well. Phase one is less food than phase two and less choices so I'm struggling with that. I can eat as many certain veggies as I want (green beans, broccoli, zucchini, carrots, etc) but I get so tired of them very quickly. I've gotten into the habit of snacking 'round the clock at work so I'm struggling with that too. All in all it hasn't been as hard as the first time I went through phase one so that's good.
I've discovered I've already lost three lbs so I certainly can't complain about that (and it is good motivation)! I know it is probably all water weight...but I'll take it! Lower numbers on the scale is lower numbers on the scale!
Since I have reminded myself that the first week lost is mostly water weight I've decided to change up my rewards for myself. That way I'm not spending so much money on my first five lbs lost. This is what I've come up with...we'll see if I stick with it!
5 lbs lost - New MP3 album from Amazon
10 lbs lost - Girl's night out with my BFF to celebrate
15 lbs lost - Shellac manicure (although may not actually get it until right before Vegas)
22 lbs lost - New outfit for VEGAS!
Last night I went to the gym and was complaining to Cole about how cold I would be when I got done because I'd be so sweaty and it is so cold outside. This is what I found when I got home...
He put my sweatpants, sweatshirt, and house shoes under a blanket on top of the heating pad so they'd be all warm when I got home. I thought it was so sweet I had to share :)
