Good Day

I got up on time i shoveled snow for my workout today so overall a good day. Last week was a very weird week for me it was good on one hand and not good on the other. I Got up late everyday last week and really didn't eat great. But i still managed to lose two pounds so i really shouldn't be complaing. Except i need to change my attitude I workout everyday. I just need to shut my brain off on certain things going on in my life which is great except for a few things and i need to deal with them i just don't know how to sometimes. Anyway i'm back on track this week and i'm not going to let myself get worried because that is how i usually knock myself down and say i can't do this but i can and i will get through my pity party. So here it comes Pity Party over. Venting done.

    I am similar, I have weird weeks sometimes. Sometimes with eating or exercise, sometimes with other stuff. I do find I love working out now because it gives my brain time to just go over things in my head, or I get all my ranting out in my head while I'm swimming, or other times I just space out and escape from whatever is bothering me.

    Good for you-

we can allow ourselves a pity party, but I remember hearing once that: "have that pity party, but after 15 minutes, take the pity party hat off"

  Not much of a pity party. Must be your exercise worked most of it out of you. Shoveling snow will do that. emoticon

    Pity parties are not constructive unless you plan to follow up with a plan to resolve whatever led to the situation in the first place. I hope you can work everything out and have some resolution! Glad you are better! emoticon

    Worrying is like rocking in a rocking chair. You can do it all day, but it won't get you anywhere. So that's great that you are working on overcoming that! Also way to go on the weight loss! emoticon

    Sounds like you are on track and doing everything great! My mantra is To worry about the things that I have control over. Anything that I don't have control over, I'm not going to spend a lot of time worrying about. Have a great week!

    You sound just like me! I also shovled snow today and used it as my workout. :) thats ok as long as your moving .. good job! And your back on track so dont beat yoorself up over it. Im in the same position Great job for loosing 2 lbs!! yay....
