Wacky Workout Wednesday!

Hello my fellow Sparklers! Today was a fun day in the gym, until chaos set in! Allow me to tell you all Sparklers, I challenge myself in the gym, to do a little more each time I go, but today, I over did it! emoticon emoticon When I say that I was out of wack, out of breath, out of space so to speak, perhaps I was seeing double,lol...not to make light of this but it was so wacky, I could not finish the cycle like I would have liked & so I only accomplished eight minutes, but I did do 12 minutes on the Treadmill, 10% incline, at 2.5 mph! emoticon I am so very proud of myself! I did 10 minutes on the Nu Step at 108 steps per minute, too much, maybe! I got dizzy when it was near the end of my workout today, & so I had to jump off the cycle, which is the last machine I worked out on, & when I did, it all went down hill from there! My mom was concerned but inside I was just as worried! And so, I had to walk around the gym three times, and the third time around, I was so hot that I had to sit down. I got my heart rate down with breathing techniques that I learned years ago because I have asthma, & I was so thirsty, emoticon went in the break room at the Chattanooga Heart Institute, and drank 2 very small cups of grape juice. I know , I should have drank water but at the time, any liquid would have done just fine.
Other than that, I came home & now I'm blogging to you all about my day at the gym. Thanks for reading & commenting on my blog Sparklers, Spark On! emoticon emoticon emoticon

    Back down a little and start up more gradually! I admire your determination, but don't hurt yourself!

    Sounds like you had a tough time of it. When this sort of thing happens you must listen to your body. Drinking the grape juice was good -- liquid and something to boost your blood sugar in case you were hypoglycemic.
