Its been more than 3 weeks since I started my weight loss journey again. Aim is to lose 25 lbs every 3 months for the next 15 months & that should put me at 145 lbs. My current weight is 265 lbs. Have lost 5.5 lbs in the past 2 weeks.
Its all about drinking lots of water & counting calories isn't it & of course being smart in my food choices as well. I have noticed the high protein & low fat & carbs combined with lots of water, snacking & exercise always works for me.
Thankfully my back is not as bad as it used to be. For those of you that don't know. I joined Sparkpeople in September of 2010. Learned that starving yourself all day to eat just one big meal is not the most healthiest thing to do. Joined a BLC & made some good friends along the way but then injured my back. Was on best rest, then went on physical therapy. After 6 months of what not finally learned that I have 2 herniated discs. In short because of my back pain I am year behind everything but that's okay because Ibtehalsmommy is feeling better & is ready to do it this time.
As of now I am revising my plan. After two weeks of struggle I have learned what works for me & what doesn't. From now on its:
Drink 10 cups of water a day
Eat 3 meals & 2 snacks a day
Count my calories & strictly watch my fats & carbs.
Zumba 4 days a week.
Strength training once a week (this is for my back)
Blog once a week (can't seem to find the time to write every day)
