Good Morning! It's foggy and overcast . . . a grey day is nice for calm reflection. Yesterday, I began organizing our upstairs - clearing away clutter and boxes from the desk area.
Gotta get rid of at least some of our books! OMG we love books - text books from college; field guides for plants, birds, bugs; writers' handbooks; maps; physics and chemistry notes; recipe books; self-help and recovery; health and wellness books; and so on!!!
Figured out how to install an alternate driver for our old HP printer, so now we can print things from the laptop!
Feels really good to have an "office" of some sort again, in which to write all sorts of things and create. Don (my sweet husband) and I have missed having that in our lives. Step by step, we pick up the next box, sweep the next corner, reshaping our lives following homelessness (September 1, 2011 - July 26th, 2012). This is the good stuff, the rebuilding of ourselves, our home, our lives :)
And the river of life flows on......if you're feeling blue, remember to take vitamin D3 and drink lots of water. Before you drink that water, look into its clear essence and think/say, "Bless this water, bless me," or any positive intention you want, because water actually does respond to our intention (Messages From Water by Masaru Emoto, http://www.masaru-emoto.net/en
Taking that a step further, we are all "water babies;" our bodies are about 78% water! So tell your body, "thank you for giving my spirit a home, body. You are beautiful and blessed!" even if it feels weird :); try it for a week or even a few days - and see what happens.
We just don't get enough sunshine here during Winter, in the Pacific Northwest, to trigger our own natural production of vitamin D. I should get out my "Happy Lite" again. It really does work!
However, I am very happy to say that my depression and anxiety are very low; have been for about 3 months!!! I know that all of your love, prayers, wisdom, willingness to share your honest experiences, and the SP way of life are the reasons for that - THANK YOU! I wish you a day of warm hugs and blessed beginnings! Love & Blessings, Lori
