Tomorrow will be one week since I joined the gym. In that time, I have tracked my food every day. Every single thing that I ate, I tracked. Also, in that time, I have attended four classes. Zumba, Butts & Guts, Kickboxing ... and man are they kicking my booty. In less than one week, I can already see a difference in the following:
My skin is more clear (on account of all the water I've been drinking)
I'm more energetic.
I'm sleeping better.
I feel more confident.
I climbed the stairs to work this morning and was barely winded when I reached the top.
I've lost two pounds.
My husband has gone for a run two nights in a row, on his own. (he must be secretly competing!)
I could definitely stand to improve a bit on my food. I've made healthy choices approximately 95% of the time, which is great - but I think maybe I should consider lowering my calorie intake. Right now I'm at 1200-1500 a day. I don't ever go over that, but feel like my progress would be better if I lowered it. I also know that I shouldn't be hungry and that my body will stall out if I'm not feeding it. I think I'll stick with what I'm on for a few more weeks and then tweak it a bit. But - so far so good!
