Or something like that! But truly, honestly, I have been away for 3 days and I feel like I have been goen for 3 weeks. I had such a busy weekend and spent all day yesterday doing wedding stuff and the entire time I was thinking: " I wonder if LILSHINE got in her workout and is eating her 5 meals? did ENDERLI post a blog? I hope EUEK098 doesn't think I forgot about her. I wonder if LISANO415 is getting any wedding stuff done? I thought of so many of you and I worried that something major was going on in your lives that I needed to support you through and I was ultimately missing it. Needless to say, I will be doing a lot of catching up on blogs over the next couple of days.
I worked Monday night and ended up over calories because some idiot brought in Eileen's Cookies and some idiot (ME) decided to eat two of them. Yesterday I did ok and was able to do my 2nd day of P90X - Cardio X. That tape is only a little over 50 minutes. The worst part about the whole thing was the yoga warmup. I have hardwood floors in my family room and staying in a set pose for a minute is hard when your back foot continues to slide. The cardio wasn't bad, in fact, at some spots it was too easy and at others it was just plain fun. I liked doing high kicks over a chair, and jumping through imaginary tires, and doing jumpshots. The best move, The Heisman, is a butt workout like no other. I am really liking P90X and am beginning to look forward to it at the end of the night. Tonight I am going to Zumba and then coming home to do the chest and back dvd. We will see if I can move on Thursday.
Yesterday was wedding planning day! Our colors are ivory, champagne and chocolate brown. I found my niece the most ADORABLE flower girl dress.
It will look so good on her; she has a beautiful milk chocolate complexion. She may just steal the show! I also bout MY dress yesterday. I looked at the dress on the 5th of September and loved it then but wanted to give myself time to lose more weight before I ordered. This is what I looked like in the dress in September:
Don't mind me, I was feeling waaay too cute!
Since that day, I have lost 23 more pounds. This is what I looked like yesterday:
Yesterday I felt like a bride! Its so amazing what a difference of 23 lbs could do. I look at that picture and I feel proud. And I don't care that I am 221 lbs. I look healthy and fit. And I was able to buy a 16 wedding dress! Buying what the designer considers to be "standard" size saved me $100 from the September quote they gave me. And the store owner gave me a bottle of champagne to celebrate! (Take that Kleinfelds!) Afterwards my aunt and I went and looked at linens to no avail and then Derrell and I were invited as guests to a wedding coordinator society event with all the major wedding vendors from Nebraska there. They set it up like a reception with an open bar and buffet and carving station and wedding cake- the whole nine yards. They asked us to sit on a panel with other brides and one other couple to share our wedding planning experience and answer their questions. It was good to just be honest with them and feel like someone cared about our big day. Tomorrow we meet with a photographer. Things are coming together and I am so pumped up!
