Time to get back on track ....

Wednesday, January 16, 2013

And relose the weight that I gained over the holidays from the weight loss over the summer and then lose the other 10 to 15 that I want to get rid of.

Kid is back home.
I'm feeling back to myself.
Nobody else got the flu.
Holiday junk food is gone .... I ate it.
To cold outside to make new book shelves that I want.
Don't have the money for any inside make overs.

Hmmmmmm sounds like I don't have any excuses not to get back on track.

Getting the flu was actually a good thing for me. It made me sit and sleep. I couldn't think very clearly, so all I could do was sleep. My hand isn't hurting, the swelling is gone. I still have to be careful picking up a gallon of milk, but other than that there is no pain. I'm still going to give it a month before I try to crochet again. Oh and the pain in my left shoulder has gone away. So I probably wont need any more cortisone shots, which is good. (Now I can sleep on my left side!!)

So now back to eating better and moving more!!

Have a great day!!

oh! Hey! I made this the other day and it is wonderful!!
1 can of three beans - you can use any that you like -
1 cup of corn
1 cups diced tomatoes
1 cup of chopped onions
1 cup of chopped bell pepper
3-4 garlic cloves
2 teaspoons of taco seasoning - or more if you like it spicey.

Saute the onions, bell peppers and garlic (I used butter), add the beans, corn, tomatoes and seasoning, cook until hot. I put a little bit of shredded cheese on top. Oh I don't drain my beans. and I used frozen corn.

I think I saw this on here, but can't remember. I just remember that it was good!!

I agree, the recipe does sound yummy. I too will be trying it out.

I've missed something about your hand and left shoulder. I'll poke around your page and see if I can find it.

Love the "I ate it" comment. Our Youth pastor gave me a bunch of the small butterfinger candy bars last year and I ate every one - about a dozen (I think?) Anyway I put on Facebook that I would not be tempted to eat the butterfingers tomorrow because I ate them all today, LOL! Your comment reminded me about that.
