Day 10 -

Just had another hawk hit our patio window. We have two feeders in the patio, protected by the "U" shape of the back of our house, and two guarding bay trees. The hawk comes in after birds, and doesn't realize how short the space is. This one, at least, was able to fly away. The last time, we had a hawk hanging around for a while while he recovered.
Pardon the unkempt look of this photo. We don't cut down our dead plants till spring time.... the seed heads on many of them feed birds during the winter. This hawk is only about 10 ft. from our patio door. If this was a cartoon, he'd have little stars and tweety birds flying around his head. He's wondering what in the world happened!
1) Did you get at least 7 hours of sleep last night?
2) Exercise at least 10 minutes a day
3) Nothing to eat after 8 p.m.
Only one out of three today. Once again, sleep time was about 6 3/4 hours. And tonight, very hungry, found the chocolate covered pomegranate seeds my daughter gave me in my stocking. Too much to resist, even though only 100 calories... not too bad, considering pigouts in the past. Back at 'em tomorrow!
