Today I only lost 2/10ths of a lb. I have been eating fairly high in carbs lately 51 grams, and 37 NET at around 1700 calories. Now I am going to do a bit of an experiment on myself. I am upping my calories to 2120 till Sunday. Also dropping carbs to 35, and 20 NET. See if I can lose MORE weight on MORE calories. I also upped my fat to 68%.
B - 5 eggs. 1 cup mushrooms, and 2 T butter
snack - 2 ozs extra sharp cheddar
L - 12 ozs b/s chicken thighs, 1 can of green beans, and 1.5 T olive oil
D - same as L
I feel pretty good, except that I am tired of seeing 217 on the scale after 3 days. I am down 1 lb. since Sunday, so looking to beat that by this Sunday. Since starting eating at a higher carb allotment, I have been slowing down steadily. I won't worry about tomorrow, since it might take a while for my weight loss to speed up. Hoping Fri, Sat, Sun to lose some extra weight though. We'll see.
American Idol starts tonight. Not sure if they ruined the show yet. I got nothing else to do though. My brother gets home at noon, and I have to go shopping. He is running out of bologna, and bread...lol. I think his nutrition class might be sabotaging his efforts. I just need a new can opener.
I just found out that Michelle Obama and I have the same birthday. I will be 39, she will be 49, but she looks better than I do
I am almost finished cooking my meals, and later I have to go play basketball for an hour, since I put it in my tracker..lol. Maybe I'll go longer! At least I won't be bored. Well, that's all I have for this blog. Have a wonderful day!
