Didn't have a good day yesterday in any way. It was just pretty much crappy. BUT I did go to my class. We didn't work out which I was annoyed about, it was just an introduction to the program. There are 12 women doing it including my friend/coworker, another co-worker, and someone who works for the main Y. Most everyone is older than me aside from my friend but it might be nice to make some new "adult" connections. A couple of the women have kids enrolled in the infant classroom and another has a 3 y.o. so maybe I'll make some new friends.
Thursday we're doing assessments (weight, time it takes to do certain activiites, etc.) We will assess again at the end of the 12 weeks.
We were given a food and exercise journal as well as sheets where we can list monthly and weekly goals. My goals for this month are to:
-track food (calories) and exercise consistantly
-do cardio 5 times a day for 20-30 minutes at a good intensity
-DO MORE STRENGHT TRAINING (and learn to use the machines properly)
Looking forward to doing this. Pretty much all of us said we were there for accountability reasons so hopefully having a class to keep me accountable will help me!
Off to make lunch...it's snowing and I'm mad. Also think I'm getting sick. Yesterday I was so tired and cold all day. Today I'm stuffy and just ache all over. :(
