Day 16--That thing called life

Wednesday, January 16, 2013

....keeps gettin' in the way. Grrr. Lol.

Nothing major, but I missed the gym today so I wouldn't be overworked for my training session tomorrow. Only now I have to go to the vet tomorrow instead. So I miss 3 days' workouts now. Quite annoying. My work day is so stretched out that fitting it in any other time is difficult. How do people with kids and careers get it all done? I'm baffled, frankly. Plus my trainer hasn't actually gotten back to me regarding my session I don't even know if he's getting my emails or what.

Work has also been tiring the last couple of days--super busy at all three jobs (the weather makes my work harder), so I'm getting done pretty late and don't have a lot of ooomph to do much else. Decided to forgo the class I wanted to take. They run it again in March, so I might do that when the days are a little longer and leave me feeling more...awake? Lol.

Picked up some NEW Vitamin D as well. My current one expired several months ago...whoops. :) Hoping that helps boost the 'happy' level somewhat.

My DH and I, once again, barely spent any time together. We didn't even get a chance to talk about my shiny new raise. I am seriously starting to resent that damned computer and his damned game. But I also don't want to make a stink because he's just quitting smoking again and I hate to stress him back to a cigarette...bah humbug phooey. I hope things get better this summer. I'm not spending another one golf-less, camping-less, and hiking-less.

Edit: Our new SMart TV has a fitness program built into it. Sweet Jesus.

Mar, how much do you need the third job? That might make it easier to fit things in....

Hang in there and keep going! Don't lose focus on what you set out to do. Life does happen don't beat yourself for missing a few gym days... just work harder to make up for time loss! Take your vit D and get your happy on!
