Super sore!

Wednesday, January 16, 2013

I'm very proud of myself. My workout yesterday left me shaky and worn out. And today... wooo, I'm feeling it. My arms hurt, my butt hurts, my hamstrings and quads hurt... even my abs hurt a little.

I did a full body strength workout for sure. ;)

The best part was this afternoon, I had a two big meetings. One of them ended 20 minutes early, leaving me a brief window before the next one. So I went outside, enjoyed the 73 degree weather, and got a 15 minute walk in with my husband!

It's been a stressful day for other reasons, but I'll talk about those later. :)

Your walk sounds so nice! I wish our weather here isn't so bad or I'd go for a walk now myself!

Make sure you stretch those sore muscles! Woohoo on the going outside to walk with a break. I do that every day on my breaks.

I've been thinking about changing up my strength training. When I started doing cardio all the time, my core and legs seemed to be maintaining their tone. But where my calves have continued to improve, my midsection is feeling a bit soggy (even though my waistline is still decreasing). Maybe the answer is to just never sit down. :P
