The stress ball helped - some.
It was the first day after all.

Today, I woke and had such a great morning. I went to work with a smile on my face and except for the snow and ice, the spring in my step would have been there. I came in and answered the ringing telephone.

... and it went from nice to stress filled in a matter of 15 minutes. I won't go into details, but let's say I had problem after problem and one of them really made me mad.

Normally I would have looked in my treat drawer. And I looked several times. Then I reached for my lemon water and stress ball. I ended up eating only two of my "only in emergency" treats today. Pretty good, actually, if you realIy look at what I have been up to lately. The challenge will be to see if my hands go into spasms from the exercise they got today and are able to type tomorrow. LOL.

Tomorrow I am taking the first two hours of the day personal leave and then I will deal with life later in the day. Hopefully I won't even need to look in the "emergency" drawer - but if so, my stress ball will be sitting right on top. emoticon

    I think that it is good you only ate some of what you could have eaten. That seems like progress.

Sorry for whatever made you stressed out BUT...
emoticon on the way you handled it. Life is always throwing us curve-balls darn it!!!

Keep on using what works and definitely what doesn't make you feel "guilty" afterwards.
