2013: the year of 10ks.

i biked for 90 minutes today. 10 minutes at upped resistance, 10 minutes at upped speed.
i walked for 2.5 hours.

ending at ugh. 1600 calories and 21 grams carbs and 80 grams protein.
carbs & protein=awesome.
calories are okay.. i dont often get that high anymore, not that that is high, but i didnt need the second atkins pb cup and now ive got a belly ache.

i am out of unroasted, unsalted cashews so i dont have my "go to" snack. ive tried pistachios and almonds but for some reason, they are unsettling my tummy lately. which is strange because i love both.

i did a killer leg workout. okay, well, maybe not. but i feel like i did!
i did 50 leg exercises, 10 reps...
and then i did i think 40 exercises, 10 reps on the bosu ball and then 10 exercises, 10 reps on the stability ball.

then i did calf raises, clenches of the rear end, and squats all for 100 times.

got really pissed at the scale this morning.
last nite i weighed in at 153 [hi, my name is dee and im still a compulsive weigher] and this morning, i weighed in at ....153.
it pisses me off because i usually weigh in 1-2lbs heavier at nite and i also weighed in at 152 yesterday so that doubly torked me off.

but whatever. im realizing...right about sometime last week that even if i get to 140-something, the scale will have moved but guess what?
i will still look the same.
cellulite? still there. batwings? still there.
sometimes i do feel like i am racing because, well, ill be honest.

i DO want to be 144 for the wedding. 144 would be 140lbs down. 144 means i am no longer over weight. [THATS a little depressing to me. losing 140lbs and just barely not over weight.] 144 means i made my goal. i made it and i did it.

just thoughts.
anyways, my resolutions are coming okay.
*25k fitness minutes.
*complete c25k: on day two of week two tomorrow!
*complete bridge to 10k. have to complete the c25k first.
*workout every day on our wedding cruise: coming up.
*finish 10k squat challenge: working on it.
*i added in yesterday 10k crunches. i am well on my way!

thats about it for the day.
pretty clean eating day up until the pb cup incident.
cashews, zucchini for dinner, cauliflower with dinner...
working on getting the stupid vegetables in.
i hate vegetables. ugh.

    Have you tried doing a "clense" for a day? It might jump start the scale again.
