A dream is just a dream,
A dream with steps to achieve it is a goal,
A goal with a deadline is a plan.
This is the first time in my life I will be able to put everything I have into my dream, and not have to be pulled into a ton of different directions while trying to achieve it. Once I achieve it, I will not have to worry about anything other than my dream.
From today on forward.... Today will be the squishiest I will ever be. Today will be the jiggliest I will ever be. Today will be the weakest I will ever be. Today will be the biggest I will ever be(until I'm old and gray or get pregnant) :) I'm going for rock hard, and brute force. It's not about pounds anymore it's about busting fat!
I want this, so incredibly bad and everything I do is going to be preparing me for it. Tomorrow I meet with my recruiter for the first time. I have a long way to go before I'm ready for the Diver Drafting.
This is the test I have to pass: 450m swim 14:00 min; 10 min rest; 42 push-ups in 2 mins; 2 min rest; 50 sit-ups in 2 mins; 2 min rest; 6 pull-ups in 2 min; 10 min rest; 1.5 mile run 12:45 min.
I will get there! It means not skipping a work out, it means raising the bar every time it starts to get easy.
So here is my regime as of right now:
6 day workout alternating A & B
Day A: Jillian Micheals 30 day shred with 5lb wieghts and a 15-20 min core workout
Day B: Distance run as far as I can with out walking, pull-up work, and yoga
2 days of rest.
I will only weigh myself the 1st of every month. I will also take measurements, and put myself through a "mock" fitness test according to the Navy standards.
I am capable of doing this! My mind is the only thing that is capable of holding me back. My body can and will do this if my mind allows it.
