I will not be lured by sales

Tuesday, January 15, 2013

After my workout at Xsport Fitness I made a pit stop at CVS to pick up some needed items for home, as i waited in the annoyingly slow line, i noticed a good deal on the candy bars. As i waited and waited to purchase my items i stood there staring at the candy rack debating whether or not i should buy one candy bar and get another for a quater. Snickers, Reeses, Baby Ruth and Kit Kat was calling me. I always been a sucker for a good sale but in the end i decided to not let a min of chocolatey goodness ruin my hour workout.

I know exactly what you went through. In hindsight, I always have said (albeit too late), "When you think you can handle it, you can't...".

I cannot have any candy/cookies, etc. in the house unless is disappears. Sad, but until I change and consciously eat healthfully, my addiction ((I truly believe I am addicted to sugar) will continue to call me; lately, the addiction has been winning unlike you... that hopefully will change with practice and consistent checking in with friends. By the way, I added you.

    Best, Dave
