2nd Post Today - recap

Tuesday, January 15, 2013

Sorry, I thought the last entry was getting a bit long so I decided to post another entry today since I had to recap over the duration of three days.

Monday was a bit nicer and more remembered. Sunday I didn't really do much but take medicine and sleep. We did manage to finish our puzzle and take a long walk outside - that's really about it though I'm afraid to say. Our intentions were to go to church and then grocery shopping but due to my head I just couldn't manage going out with others. We stayed inside though and spent way over the amount that was given on our two gift cards for both Teavana and Lush. That's the only problem with gift cards, you start buying at places and then you spend way over the amount that was given. But our house will be filled with tea and lovely Lush bath products soon. Hooray! Additionally we managed to purchase an antenna and some more Vegan Deva Multivitamin tiny tablets. Yay! For dinner I did "Olives for Dinner's" vegan cheese recipe and pasta for the husband and I had some leftover soup. That's about all the excitement to report. (no photo of the pasta but here's the salad that went with it.)

emoticon Food: Breakfast was once again homemade bread (tons left in freezer from Christmas) with coconut butter and tea. I'm leaving out the coffee this week to assure my headache goes away. But that's okay because I love herbal tea, black tea, red tea, everything else tea... It is also a great way to get even more water into ones' system because the copious amounts I'm already drinking... emoticon

Snack: 3 organic Navel oranges from Trader Joes - delish!!!

Lunch: Homemade in the microwave (fancy, I know) tomato sauce with vegan broth and a little asafetida powder. It was so amazingly mouth watering - it's a favorite right now since it's turned cold - AGAIN! argh.

Snack: 1/2 Luna Lemon Bar and I think I had another TJ's Orange.

Dinner: I was feeling a lot better so I went ahead and made an easy batch of millet and Mushroom gravy over the top. I made it with a full batch of swiss chard instead of kale though since I used it all up the other night.

emoticon Exercise: yeah, that's a total definite no on that front. My head feeling in pain just really didn't make me want to go out in the cold, wet weather today. We did have 70F and it dropped to 30F. Brrr My body is all confused on a millon fronts. haha

So now I'm all caught up... How was everyone's weekend?
