We are half way through the month of January. Time to review goals.
1) get below 215.. 217.4
2) workout every day.. check
3) no cheats.. check
4) Spark daily.. check
I may actually accomplish all my goals this month. I have lost 7.8 so far this month, and just need to lose another 2.6. My weight loss is slowing though, so I may cut back on carbs a bit, and up my fat for a few days to accelerate the weight loss, if it drops below the 4/10 ths of a lb I have lost the last 2 days.
I was awoken at 4 a.m. today, and it wasn't the scurrying of mice. My brother ate breakfast yesterday, and took his 2nd meal to school, then came home at noon, and ate his 3rd, AND 4th meal, except for a fruit. He slept in the afternoon, so he ate dinner, his 5th meal at 9 p.m., while we watched Biggest Loser. So 4 a.m., and he was hungry again, so he had breakfast. Then at 10 a.m., he ate 2 bologna sandwiches, which is 2nd and 4th meal for him. So he has 2 fruit, and a can of vegetables left till dinner. He also took 2 fiber bars, which is an extra 280 calories. Then a dinner of chicken and noodles. He says he has lost 1 lb, and I have lost 8/10ths of one. The difference is that I am not hungry, and I am eating on plan. I wish he could eat low carb but he doesn't like it. He also doesn't do it correctly, and has a tantrum when I try to explain it..lol. He thinks I am a perfectionist. I think details make a difference.
So I am considering what kind of camera I want. Of course, I will take pictures of him, but I may stencil my name in the side..lol. MINE. Funny thing is, he is eating this way because he is in a nutrition class, and is following their advice. So as most people can understand.. he is starving, and miserable. The Standard American Diet ( SAD ). I am okay as long as he continues to lose weight, and I lose more..lol.
So I am down to 217.4 today. I haven't lost weight this regularly in a while. No stops, or gains so far. I had my 5 eggs and cup of mushrooms with butter for breakfast. Then I did my 90 minute walk at the gym. I just ate lunch of 3 chicken thighs with skin on, and 1 can of green beans ( 1.75 cups ). Now I have to do my band workout. Back, biceps, shoulders, and abs.
My plan for today is to read The Silent Man by Alex Berenson.. third book in the series. Also may test out my pillows, and see if my face fits well into them..lol.. naptime at 38 is better than it was at 8. Nothing on TV last night, but Biggest Loser was 2 hours, and there were two 1 hour episodes of Bones, so I just watched Biggest Loser. I figured if Biingo was limited to 2 hours of screen time, I would do the same, excluding computers..shh! Today I will just watch the Bones shows.
I feel kind of blah right now. I am eating food, sleeping, and the days are passing, but it is too cold to go outside, and not much to do, a slow period of the year. Tomorrow I have basketball, which will include more talking to other people, so hopefully I get a boost. Then Thursday I turn 39, but that just means I have 365 days left till 40, and I want to be at GW by then. I would say that I was worried about cheating because I am bored, but I am not even thinking about it, which is weird. I am just bored..lol.
