Death to brown rice

I am having a really hard time making the switch from white rice to brown. I love white sticky rice! Brown rice just doesn't tatse the same nor does it get soft and sticky like white rice does. Ugh... why is it that all of my favorite food are not the best for me?! Boo..

    I would try some different kinds of rice. Also brown rice will turn stickier if you cook it a little longer, just be careful not to burn it. You may need to add a little extra water. I have a rice cooker and love it. Since brown rice takes so long to cook, I usually cook enough to put in my refrigerator for later.

    If there's an Asian market near you, you can get brown sticky rice. Sometimes it's sold as brown sushi rice. Yummy! I swear it tastes really good.
