Cheater, Cheater

Tuesday, January 15, 2013

As I have said before, I don't believe that I need to eliminate any specific foods from my life. That would make me unhappy. And no one wants an unhappy Shelby (trust me on this).

That said, tonight 'A' and I are going to Dairy Queen where we will each enjoy a medium Blizzard treat. (I'm on their mailing list, so I received a BOGO coupon)

I love ice cream. I know I cannot store it at my apartment because I buy those gallon tubs and one serving for me is an entire bowl. Not good. However, going out to get it makes for a special, sweet night. Literally.

Dairy Queen is one of our cheats. I receive these coupons once a month or two and we plan this as one of our date nights. I tell him ahead of time when the coupon is set to expire and we plan what night works best for us to go.

Our Cheat Night.

'A' asked who in their right mind would have DQ on a 40 degree evening. I started to answer, "Us" when I realized that we're obviously not in our right mind. Ha. And that's okay. It'll be our 40 Degree, Ice Cream Loving, 'Hopefully Avoiding a Brain Freeze' Cheat Night.

Tonight, I am a Cheater Cheater Blizzard Eater.

Tomorrow, I start my Biggest Loser Workout DVD. Maybe tonight. We'll see what time I get home...

Until next time, my Lovelies...

If its planned, its not cheating. You have to eat treats every so often just to keep from going crazy...then you really wouldn't be in your right mind =)

40 degrees to cold? I just read a blog for a local sparker who debated and got ice cream last night and it's upper 20s here:) Anyway, sounds like a great plan for satisfying your sweet tooth!

^Did that person even read your blog??? *eye roll* enjoy the ice cream! Every now and then me and the bf go as well. I get the mini size blizzard, even though I know I could eat a large lol! Don't worry I have eaten an ice creamcone, walking outside while snowing in South Dakota! When you want ice cream you just gotta have it ;-P

Enjoy, I myself will be having a kiddie cone in celebration of drinking my water today. So sad. I have to bribe myself for water instead of soda.

Ha! Saturday was my Blizzard cheat day - yum. I've been able to stick to the mini size blizzard but must admit that looking over at my husband's larger one does make me a bit envious. Enjoy!

Mmmmm a blizzard. I haven't had one in sooo long. Good for you on your cheat. There are some things that are just not meant to be cut from out diets, and desserts is one of those things lol.
