Tomorrow is another day

My favorite line from Gone With The Wind, which is my favorite book and movie, is Scarlett O'Hara's "Tomorrow is another day". It's her excuse for everything unpleasant. She just keeps going after what she wants. Her biggest problem is that she doesn't always see that what she wants isn't in her best interests usually and she can't see what good there is in front of her.
I've been plugging away at the BLC 2013 challenge on the Wii Fit team. Plex has been doing it with me, so it helps. What doesn't help is when my daughter decides to be snarky while he's exercising. I've started to tell her if she's going to make comments, she's going to have to get up and do it with us. Hopefully she will back off or accept the challenge.
We had a great day on Saturday. Plex and I went over to Misterbaldy's place, and we played card games all afternoon. In fact we played until nearly 11pm! There was much laughter, which was needed by the four of us present. Life has been weighing heavily on us. The amazing thing though is that while life was heavy, our bodies got lighter. We have all lost weight! Go figure!
I finally caved in and called the doctor about the metformin he prescribed. What prompted me to call was when I found out that he prescribed me double when most people I know who take the stuff are taking, and their sugar reading are twice as high as mine! I was nauseous constantly, and could barely eat anything. Not a happy situation, believe me. Well, the doctor took me off it immediately. Now to get my body back to a normal baseline and try again. As much as I hate this medication cocktail merry-go-round I seem to be on, I want so much to get this under control. Two edged sword.
Last week at work we had to vacate our office. One of my coworkers had her face swell up from something in the air. We could smell mold coming from the air vent. She's allergic to mold, as am I and another coworker. They tested the environment and put us back in the office. I have been having headaches every day for months, and now this makes sense. I just hope they do something about it.
Welp, back to work with me. I have lots of documents that need my attention, and this is my short week (I get Friday off! Woot!).
