I am a person of habit/routine. This week instead of working my swing shift I had the dayshift. I finished my Sun. swing shift at 11, and had to turn around and be back at 7 on Mon. as well as Tues. After working yesterday I came home took a nap, ate a quick bite then went to my club for a reformer class followed by walking the track for 25 min. Today I will have my couple hours of volleyball in the evening. I have a retreat on Fri. & Sat. to attend. At this point I do not have a plan for Fri. however I am doing Pilates(called Barefoot Grace. Music is ALL Christian which I love.) on Sat. morning before my all day event.
Due to the scrapbook retreat on Fri. & Sat. I need to get in my workouts ahead of time but I also need to think about my eating. There will be lots of treats available and it is so easy to eat mindlessly. Since I won't be getting in my 10,000 steps on these days, I cannot afford to eat carelessly. Writing this out is my first step in setting myself up for success. It is the small steps that can help me get to the finish line. My goal this week is NOT to gain weight. Last year I would weigh in weekly, every Sun. I have not recorded recently because I had gained weight. I thought I won't record again until I'm back to that weight but that is just a set up. So, I will be entering my weight no matter what this Sun. because I am beginning again and this is all part of the process.
