Still Lingering

Tuesday, January 15, 2013

I am tired of this cold/pain in my chest. It just lingers on and on.
I do feel like the pain is lessening so that's good. Finished the antibiotics on Sunday and since it's a z-pack it'll keep working for another week (I think).
I've been walking and Walk it Out-ing and that's it.
My trainer emailed me yesterday to ask how I was feeling and if I would be training and I told her no - probably not until the end of the week or longer. emoticon
Mostly I feel good, still some head congestion and a little coughing (that hurts).
Oh well enough whining, on with the day. emoticon

It sounds like you might have had what I had last November. It took me a good three weeks to a month to get to the point where I felt close to normal. It takes time. I still seem to have a cough in the morning when I wake up and sometimes in the middle of the night..

Hang in there, it does get better!

I am VERY pleased that you are still taking it easy. I think it is VERY important. I know you have a VERY hard time though slowing down. Keep taking care of you!!!

Thanks. It's not heart-related. The pain is from costrochondritis, inflammation of the chest cavity.

Since your symptoms started with chest pain, you might consider trying some CoQ 10. It really helps with chest pain if there's even a remote chance it might be heart related. Hope you're feeling well again soon.

Give yourself time to get better. I know people who have had this and it lingers a long time. If you do not give yourself the time to get better, it will start over. Keep that in mind :) Have PATIENCE!

I hope you feel better soon, I am dealing with a "head" cold as well, started Sunday morning, I woke up in the middle of the night with a terrible sore throat! In the morning my nose was running, like a faucet,my whole head hurt. I never know what to take, I hope it passes quickly, I don't have time for this either! emoticon
