its all white.

Well i woke up this morning and it had happened... the colourful world that used to live outside was blanketed by a layer of snow. I suppose i shouldnt be to surprised by it as it has been trying to snow and lay ever since the weekend. (and for those of you that live over the pond , i realise my thin covering of snow is mega compared to yours , but, its there all the same emoticon )
Positive things about it... It makes the world seem brighter while it is here... The colours that are left behind stand out more, and the sunrise/set reflected on the snow looks amazing. (i didnt get my camera in time to capture it "maybe tomorrow". Plus if i fall over its bound to be more softer............
Negative things. Kenzie has banned me from outside without a chaperon... emoticon incase i fall and can not get up. ( no snowman building for me then) If it keeps up i will not be able to go to watch les miserables with the family..... Walking has become incredibly painful more than usual even with pain relief.
So instead of looking at it,i guess i am going to remain (or try to) positive and say, i can see Les Misrables another time when the weather is better and it is safer to go out, At least Kenzie cares if i fall or not and is looking out for me. And blow the snow man, i always got cold fingers when doing them as a child anyhow. emoticon
Food wise it is an excuse for hot stews and soups and hot drinks.. but my water consumption seems to have gone down hill again , ( i think it is psychological because it is cold) I ma trying hard to keep away from the naughty things we still have in the house from the holidays but they keep calling me. So instead i am going to find some knitting to do .
Have fun all emoticon

To Kenzie, you are a sweetheart. You are so nice to Gilli.

To Gilli, you had better not go out without a chaperon, you're too far for me to come over to have a chat with you!! emoticon

You know I HATE the snow but it is lovely to look at. The only snow I like is in a snow dome that you shake. LOL!!

As far as your water, how about a nice cup of warm water with lemon squeezed into it and a bit of honey? It's warm, comfy and yummy - not to mention it helps with burning fat.

The stews sound yummy too!! Nothing like a bowl of stew on a cold day.

Stay warm - Knit something cozy and take care of yourself. I'm sorry the pain continues. Wish I could help in some way. You are in my thoughts.

xo emoticon xo

You're best to play it safe rather then end up sorry! And I have a sneaking suspicion that Les Mis is going to be out on DVD! I am waiting for that!

HUGS and stay warm. Cold here too, and I know what you mean about soups and stews! Yummo.

Enjoy the beauty of the snow from the warmth of your window! And for the water, try warm water with a bit of citrus (I like lime slices). Yummy and you get you water done!
