So this morning when my alarm went off, I really didn't feel like gettin up. I wanted to stay in my nice warm bed. As my body and brain were arguing, I thought of a compromise. Sleep for another hour as long as I run the stairs at work. You see, I work on the second floor of my building. I go up and down the stairs a lot throughout the day. I thought "why can't I take a little extra time and do 5 sets of running up and down them every time I go downstairs?" I figure each set would take me about 5 minutes to complete. As long as I went downstairs 6 times today, I would get my 30 minutes in. The argument between the body and brain stopped. Both were happy with the compromise. I've already done 2 sets of the 6. Now I just need to get the next 4 in. Just trying to use my time wisely, get enough sleep, and workout.
