So, I'm only 2 weeks into the new year, but I'm wanting to really stay on track w/ my eating & fitness efforts... so I thought I would post a mid-month report in addition to my monthly one to keep me accountable throughout the month.
So, here are my results since Jan. 1st:
Weight: 3.7 lb. lost
Body fat %: 0.6% lost
Upper arms: 0.25 in. lost
Chest: 1.25 in. lost
Waist: 0.25 in. lost
Hips: 0.5 in. lost
Thighs: 0.25 in. lost
Calves: no change
Not too bad for just 2 weeks... down 2.5 inches, and almost 4 lbs. (2 lbs. a week, which is a good rate to lose at).
Being part of the Kick Start program and the Lifestyle Change program at my gym has really helped me stay focused and given me plenty of opportunities to keep moving. And even more than that, having a "partner" (my future DIL) to do this with has really helped me stay motivated. I even managed to workout the full 2 hrs of the Zumbathon last week, in a great part thanks to having her there w/ me!
