Had a good day at co-op, but was very ready to be heading home at 3 p.m. The music class I lead (K-3) led worship this morning and they rocked the gym with their joy while they sang. it was so cute. I left for co-op planning to close down this class 3rd session, but to see how much fun they have is making me take it to prayer so it isn't a selfish decision.

Once home Maegann and I loaded up some furniture items and then took them down the street to Love, Inc. for their thrift store. Was amazing how difficult it was to let some of those items leave the house as they were in place for our babies! It is nice having them gone at the same time to free up floor space.

Enjoying Biggest Loser tonight and having a chance to Spark during commercials. Did some of the squats, etc. that Bob had his team doing to challenge Isaac and see what he could do.

Tomorrow I intend to go to the gym first thing as I have not been there since last Wednesday. Feeling like a slug so I need to go get things going again! After breakfast I think we'll go to Target to pick up a couple items and then do some schoolwork. Isaac was such a mess last Tuesday (too tired after co-op day) so we'll see. Today he was totally disconnected. I haven't had to just keep after him all day long at co-op for quite some time, but today he needed a full-time caretaker. Added another layer of tired to my day. Praying he gets a good night of sleep.

Let's see.... Sunday night.... I had planned for 3 oz. of plain tortilla chips and that's what I did. Tonight I'm having an apple with caramel.

Fear and trembling have come upon me; horror and fright have overwhelmed me. And I say, Oh, that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest. (Psalm 55:5-6)

Trust in Him. If you are going through a difficult time right now, don't be discouraged and run away. Trust God to be with you, and He will give you the grace and the wisdom to get through it.

My youngest son has Asperger's and we have had a few tough days lately--one that earned him a Saturday detention at school and he lost his bowling time over it. That made it harder on him--thus harder on me. I think that is the trick--we really wear our kids' issues and when they are special, it is a bigger load that we wear.

The good thing is that it will settle down--and I, for one, am hoping that is soon after today's round two with my guy. Take care of yourself and stay in your best condition to handle it as best you can. For what it's worth, an hour and a half after the storm here, Micah came and apologized. They do remember the good things we teach them in their own time!

Gentle hugs,

Good message about trusting ... too much time and energy is spent worrying about things we can't change anyway! Hope your time at the gym this morning is very relaxing!

Yes, those days that a child is just not with what needs to be done are exhausting for both child and mom!

Good for your snacking challenge!
