Well, I'm just wrapping up my 16th day of my juice fast, and still going strong. This morning this scale was down 16 pound since Dec. 30th, when I started the fast.
My energy level still amazing me most days. My taste buds have changed: I have a taste for salads and veggies - not sweets. My clothes are fitting loser, and I just feel good. I feel like my mind is in a good place now to make healthy food choices.
So, Saturday I went to the gym and did a light full body workout. I did supersets to be more efficient and did 3 sets for every muscle group did 10 minutes on the stepmill and 15 minutes on the eliptical and spent a lot of time stretching very well. I''m big on stretching.
After my workout, I was spent. My husband played raquet ball that morning and he was exhausted too. We had to turn on the tv for the kids so we could lay down and take a nap...it was that bad. This and one other day when the kids didn't sleep well, are the only days that I've felt so tired.
One more week left on the fast. We go back home to visit family this weekend. We'll be easing back into raw fruits and veggies then, and we'll bring some juice with us. I'm not anxious for the trip (food wise) at all. I won't be tempted. I'm so incredibly focused.
