I didn't blog yesterday - I took Sunday as a rest day. After church we spent the afternoon with friends - they took us out to Applebees. I was tired from the weekend so in the evening I just sat on the couch, cross stitched and watched a two-parter Matlock.
Today, I usually have only 2 daycare kids, but I ended with all 5, even the 1st grader. His school was closed because of frozen pipes. It was in the single digits today with a low of -2F.
I was very tired today - another day where I pushed through. I read some more in the book No More Fatigue by Jack Challem. It had some good info in it.
A spark friend said one of her goals this year is to blog her feelings not just what she does. That has encouraged me to do the same...
I will see my doctor on Wed for the results of my blood work. I am a little frustrated with him right now for a number of reasons. One...I go in saying I am extremely exhausted and having difficulty losing weight. He immediately says I have sleep apnea. Huh?? He goes ahead and orders blood work to rule out metabolic syndrome, low thyroid, pre-diabetes, & cortisol. But he is absolutely sure I have sleep apnea. I doubt it because my husband says I rarely snore.
Two...he prescribes an appetite suppressant. He says he takes it too. I look at him and think "I am definitely not going to take it. He is obese himself." Plus I don't like popping pills. I get home and look it up and I find out a side effect is insomnia. WHAT??!!
Three...He gives me 3 sample boxes of a sleep aid. At home I look it up and it says don't take if you have sleep apnea---and that is what his diagnosis it?????
Four..I asked to have a saliva test done to check for adrenal fatigue and he refused.
Oh, well I will make a decision after I see him.
