Things are going well and when they do not we work it out.

Over the weekend DH was trying to use the walker. He kept telling me it feels lime a shopping cart that you cannot control.
Sunday afternoon I looked at how it was going over to one side. We have a small ranch with a long passage way built of course with narrow doors.

DH went downstairs to play on his computer. He loves the Patriots but he says when he watches they lose so he is very good about cheering for them but not watching, that was his Sunday afternoon mission.
I went and looked closely at the walker and would you believe it had different size wheels. I measured them and I also measured the Tires. They were the same diameter hub but fatter tires so no wonder it wandered all over for him.
Monday morning I showed him what I thought was the problem I told him I was going back to get it changed. He said not to bother I would just get upset but I do not he just thinks I am.
I took the walker in and asked if the lady could see any problem. No she said I said now try to push it. It did go to the side but they had wood floors we have a rug. I pointed out the wheels were different, she took the walker away and brought it back with 2 NEW MATCHING WHEELS. Now it goes straight and DH does not have to watch the wheels he can look ahead instead.

After lunch we made up the beds and left the house with clean floors and looking great. I was happy with the new arrangement of furniture and DH loves my recliner so everything will be just right when we get home.

Tonight we kind of celebrated, we ate FISH and CHIPS with Malt Vinegar. Oh they were good, oh they were not on the list of approved food but boy are we happy. Now DH has had lots of protein to see him though. There is a wake up call and a shuttle bus is ordered and we are going to just play it by ear.

We have a huge king size bed and we are sleeping together in the the same bed. Since November DH had shingles and I had the flu so it has been quite a special day. Good night Hugs Pat in Maine.
