Weekly Challenge + Weigh in

Today is the first day of my weekly challenge and also my first weigh in in a good long while. Time to face the music!

Current Weight: 162 lbs
Goal Weight: 125 lbs

Below is the challenge for this week!
This week let’s focus on supporting our teammates, while working toward our goals as well. Select at least 2 of the following challenges every day, but strive for more. Or challenge yourself to do them all!

J - JUST DO IT! What do you need to just go ahead get done?

A - ACTIVE: Add a little extra activity to your routine. Add 10 min, extra reps, or an extra mile.

N - NEW: Try something new. What have you been meaning to change or try? This is a great time to try a new fruit or veggie, new recipe, exercise, a hobby, planning and preparing, a new hairdo, something about your appearance, or perhaps a new attitude!

U - UPLIFT and support your teammates with a warm welcome, kind message, a goodie, encouragement, original huddle post, or maybe even a prayer. If you see a struggling teammate, reach out and help.

A – ACTION: Take action toward meeting your current goals. Have you slacked off a bit? Try getting back to the basics of water, freggies, and moving at least 10 min.

R - REACH OUT – We have many new members, let’s reach out and get to know each other.

Y - YOU -‘ME TIME' - make yourself a priority, schedule at least 10 mins, or more if you can. Set this time aside and mark it as an appt if you need. This is a day changer!

I'm going to work on A - Action and Y - You "Me time". My birthday is this Wednesday and it has really made me realize that I need to step it up. Not to make other people but to make MYSELF happy. Time to get down to business and focus on me as well.

For my Action I'm going to focus on only having one diet soda a day and making a conscious effort to eat less and eat healthy. I'm aiming to be within my calorie range, but the big thing is tracking and making the effort!

For "Me time" I'm going to make sure everyday that my basic needs are met and try to give myself some reading time and coming back to Spark People more often. This is truly my "me" time. emoticon

I think as women we often forget to put ourselves as #1 priority. So, way to go! You got this.
