What the actual heck?

Monday, January 14, 2013

I've been hungry all day. Proper, full on, stomach-making-embarrassing-no
ises hungry. All. Day.

Which is why I gasped in horror (probably loud enough for all my American friends to hear) when the nutrition tracker told me I'm over my calorie range today. Why? Just...why???

I'm hoping it's because I had leftovers for my lunch today and didn't calculate the quantities quite right. But still, I'm having a low calorie day tomorrow.

Anyway. Once again I felt a sinking feeling when I read this week's FFF challenge. I already exercise in the gym, at my flat (in my room, the living room, and even the kitchen) and outside round the city. I'm not sure where else I could go. Do you think it would count if I did my usual exercise but in a different setting from that list? Like, say I do a skipping workout outside rather than in my room? Or maybe running a different route? I don't know.

I do think changing up the routine with a new location or maybe new intervals all would count towards the challenge! Good job!

I think that having a different running route would count. I usually run at a park in town, but this was closed for two weeks following Hurricane Sandy and I had to find a different place to run. You never know, so having alternative options is always a good idea.

When it's 4-5 days before my TOM I feel the same... Maybe it's the same case. We all have our good and bad days, the important thing is that you tracked everything you ate.

I hope tomorrow you're gonna feel fine!

    I'm sorry you are hungry!
I hope tomorrow is better for you.
And I think that if you change your routes and routines it would count!

Don't forget that you're using calories at the moment just to keep warm! Might explain why you're so hungry.

Just take it in stride and keep going! I notice dips and spikes in my calorie amounts monthly. And not always around that special time in the month. I think our bodies just respond to what we put them through on a daily basis in a delayed reaction. I worked out a lot more than usual on Saturday and all day Sunday I was starving, especially craving carbs!

I think it's hormones tbh. I can go for a fortnight without feeling hungry and then suddenly, along comes the munch monster, and we're off . . .

Aw, I am sorry you are so hungry! Are your calories in a good range for your daily hunger level? I know I had to tweak mine a little bit, (they are higher now) and I am still losing good. I'm sure any exercise is good exercise. Keep at it! If you don't give up, you will get the results you are looking for! emoticon emoticon emoticon
