On a Mission

Monday, January 14, 2013

I can't help but notice that I'm always trying to get/stay organized. It doesn't help that I have ADD. I get aggravated at myself when I misplace something or forget to do something. I got up this morning thinking I would go to the library and check out some books on ADD and how to get organized. Then it dawned on me. I had forgotten that today is the Monday holiday for Martin Luther King Day. Government offices are closed.
So, I have a change in plans. I will go to the library tomorrow. Today I will spend time on line to see what I can come up with. I have both on my to do list. What would I do without it?

I just realized that today would have been my parents 60th Anniversary. I did talk to my mother today but didn't realize it at the time.. her first anniversary since he died last spring...

Lists help me also but can also be overwhelming. I like the idea of singular post it lists. Thanks!

Isn't that holiday next Monday? That's when my son had off school, anyway. As for organization with ADD, try lists. But instead of having a whole list on a sheet of paper, put your list on post its so you only see one at a time. That helps me a great deal to stay on track.
