I want to inspire people. It's such a simple idea, and I think I have done so in some areas of my life....my classes, example. But I've never considered myself to be someone who could inspire someone else to be healthier because of my own health habits.
But maybe I can be an inspiration to others because of my own healthy habits and weight loss success (when it happens, that is!). My Mom was just put on a statin drug for her cholesterol and triglycerides, and my best friend needs to lose weight in order to be healthier for her kids and cure her chronic back and joint pains. Maybe, if I learn new ways of living, healthy recipes, healthy habits, tips/tricks/secrets.......mayb
e I can inspire change in these two women who are so important to my life.
So, when it's not just about me anymore......those minutes at the gym are much easier to power through. It's not just about me and the scale when I'm on it. It's about all of us.
