Hotel Living

Monday, January 14, 2013

So I've been living in a hotel for the past couple of weeks. It's been difficult but I've gotten a routine down to where for the most part I eat breakfast in my room, and I pack my lunch for work. For dinner I've been going out so I can at least have one hot meal a day.

It's been difficult. I'm trying not to feel like I'm bored and snacking just because. So far that's been ok. My biggest problem has been when I get home from work I'm starving so I have a snack but then we go out for dinner and I end up eating there too. Ugh.. I know I need to learn to my body more and I'm trying. I just feel off the entire time I'm here.

One good thing is that if I want any kind of food I have to walk at night to go get it. I've also been doing about 3+ miles a day from just wandering around. That's definitely more walking then I've done in a long time.

I'm just hoping when I finally can weigh myself at home that it will be good news.

Good luck, it's tough but it can be done.

I travel A LOT (going out to Vegas today). I've found getting salads and keeping them in the fridge is good, as are nuts to snack on.

Keep on working out too....it can only help. As for the weekends....read, workout, see a movie, workout, nap, workout......etc!

    Good luck!

Make it a plan to walk that distance every day while in the hotel.
