His Love

Romans 8:35-39
Who will separate us from the love of Christ ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword ? Just as it is written, "FOR YOUR SAKE WE ARE BEING PUT TO DEATH ALL DAY WE WERE CONSIDERED AS SHEEP TO BE SLAUGHTERED." But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Hello guys and gals
I am so glad that the Lord has put me on this journey. I have lost a few more pounds. I am weighed myself today and I am at 283.8 that is another 4.6 lbs I have lost. Yesterday seemed to be a long day but it really wasn't. I just had to break my sleep up to get the rest I needed so I could make it to both services at church. I figure Jesus committed his life to me I can commit some time to him. It may be uncomfortable a little, but Jesus was beat and hung on a cross for me. My sacrifice is little compared to his, but still I hope it blesses him.

My Pastor gave us a charge, or challenge however you would look at it. The challenge was to fast one meal a day and replace that meal with prayer for our great country, our president, and leaders in Washington. I am going to take that challenge, even though I am trying to keep my eating schedule. I guess prayer will be my source of food during one meal. It is funny though, I have been reading the bible a lot this last week and I have come across the subject of fasting a few times and the Holy Spirit has been speaking to me about it. I have never fasted before and needed direction. So thank you Pastor Damon for the direction I needed.

You know God loves us so much! I wanted to talk about His love for us. I think it is funny that some of the things I try to talk about we, as humans, can not really grasp. His plans, His presence, and now His love. Unconditional love, no strings attached. This scripture puts it best and I believe that nothing can separate us from God's love. His loves knows no boundaries, He loves us even when we are in sin. My best example is how we love our children. We love them for their differences, for their uniqueness, and everything they are. Even though I am using our love for our children as an example, God's love far surpasses that.

Lord thank You for Your love, and Your word. Lord please be with me during this time of fasting and focusing. I give You glory for all You do and thank You for all the blessings You send my way. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
