Day 10....the Ballet & Mcdonalds...again!

Sunday, January 13, 2013

Took my youngest daughter to the Russian National Ballet tonight and oh it was so beautiful! We saw them perform Sleeping Beauty and it was a wonderful show. Thank you so much to a dear friend who had me comp'd a $30 seat for free so I only had to pay for my daughter seat which was $20. She and I attend the local ballet company's show each June, just the two of us and after we always go to Mcdonalds and she gets a happy meal. Tonight of course she wanted to maintain our June tradition and who was I to say no. ... ... ... so I didn't. We get there and she wants a milk shake...ugh...that sounded so good, a chocolate milk shake..so she got a mcnugget happy meal and a chocolate shake and I got an unsweetened iced tea with five splendas in it and asked her for 1 french fry. I ate that french fry and drank my iced tea and I didn't feel upset that I was missing out! YAY ME!

I feel good, still have the nasty cough, but looking forward to Tuesdays weigh in at WW. It's been a good week, lots of exercise. In fact SP is mad at me because I'm burning too many calories....ugh...I feel like I'm doing great but it says I need to eat more and I don't want to. I'm not hungry for more. Any suggestions?

If the calories you're taking in really are enough to satisfy your hunger and keep you going, taking the exercise and everything (the lingering coughing) into consideration, consider resetting the calorie tracker's scale,

I'd really suggest keeping an eye on it for a couple of weeks, rather than just a few days before making that kind of switch, to make sure that you're not running short on energy, or getting run down. But if those are the facts, you can make SP respect your reality!
