Goal Progress, Measurements & Zumba Videos

Well, I finally got myself in gear and took my 'starting' measurements! Excited to see how far I get this month, by mid summer and by the end of the year! :)

A brief goal check-in for this past week:

emoticon -use the kettlebell to workout three times a week (M-W-F)
I did this on Monday... and was SO. SORE. for the next few days. I waited it out... still did some yoga and then restarted kettlebell training today. :)

emoticon -go for a run (or walk, depending on the knee situation) 2-3 times a week
I did decide to restart C25K, so I made it out once. Hoping to up it this week!

emoticon -do a yoga routine each morning M-F
I think I made it 4/5 days! Woo hoo!

emoticon -track my food daily
Did every day but yesterday/today. I ate out yesterday so I skipped one meal in my tracker. Today I just didn't input anything, but I actually ate really well! :)

Technically I did that today... super fun 20 minutes of YouTube Zumba. ;)

I've been good about this so far! And I have noticed that I feel better when I do it! :)

Mostly, yes! Mostly to track food/fitness... this next week I'd like to update/look at teams/pages more.


I had a BLAST this evening doing 20 minutes of Zumba workouts via class videos on YouTube! I used to do them on occasion and I came across this feed on Pinterest last night, so I thought I'd try it out. SUPER FUN!! I was sweaty and had a blast. Jai Ho was my favorite, I think. I followed the Zumba up with the kettlebell workout I tried the other day. Still difficult to do, but not as bad since this time I did two sets of 10 reps rather than one set of 20-25 reps! Learned my lesson!! ;)
