Second Week of Maintenance

The scale was down a few ounces, but I only pay attention to the lbs. So 125lbs it is.

Since I can't workout, I've decided to devote week 3 of 2013 to vain and shallow goals. (I'm NOT saying anyone who already does these things on a regular basis is vain and shallow, this is just how I'm labelling them for ME.)

1. I'll take the time to 'style' my hair.
(Mostly up-dos, since I need my hair out of the way at work. Hmm... Where are those hot rollers?)

2. I'll plaster my face with make-up.
(I stopped when I started working out. Sweaty make-up face is NOT cute.)

3. I'll wear colored eyeshadows.
(A different color palette each day.)

4. I'll wear heels/wedges to run my errands.
(I've exchanged them for workout shoes, they must miss being worn.)

Back to my maintenance weight for a bit.
I grabbed a pair of jeans from the 'too small' section of my closet today and asked out loud, "To fit or not to fit?"
The boyfriend says, "Are you serious? Those look WAY too big!"
emoticon Whaa??
I put them on and he was right.
Cause for celebration?
It should be.
But I liked how those jeans used to fit the last time I was around 125lbs. What gives?!!
Apparently the last time I was 125lbs it was on my way UP from a lower weight.
This time my 125lbs are from working my way DOWN from a higher weight.
This makes for loose fitting jeans, which makes me emoticon I was working to get back into my 'too small' jeans and now it feels like I over did it.
At the risk of looking like a weight loss infomercial model:

The butt and thighs are so loose it feels like I'm wearing a saggy diaper:

Sigh, what's a girl to do?

    Saggy diaper sounds so awful!

Love your plans for this week! Maybe a trip to a thrift store to give up the jeans that you are too small for in exchange for something 'new to you' instead!

    I am glad to know that you've decided to treat your self a make over. After hard work of what you have done to yourself, also since you can't work out yet anyway, it is the best time for you to focus on brightened up on you. Way to go Dee !! *\(^o^)/*

    I think your goals are awesome! I'm trying to make weekly goals no matter how lame (ie putting away baskets of laundry), because my goals are just for me.

Also, congrats on being too small for your "small pants"! I am so jealous, and I can't wait for that to happen to me. Have fun shopping!

    hahah, time to get some NEW jeans :) that hug your figure just the way you like them to ;) way to rock your week off and make it something positive- it will help you in the long run! have fun!

  I think this is a good idea :) a distraction is just what you need for now. I wish I had the jeans problem you have. I haven't been that weight since college.,..a long time ago! Time to do some shopping :)
